Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients & Supplies
- 2 pounds russet potatoes
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup milk
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- Seasonings: garlic salt, pepper, onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add potatoes and cook until tender, about 15-20 minutes.
- Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot.
- Add butter, milk, and minced garlic to the potatoes.
- Mash the potatoes using a potato masher or electric mixer until smooth and creamy.
- Season with garlic salt, pepper, and onion powder to taste. Mix well.
- Serve and enjoy!
Tips & Notes
Add the milk in slowly. Depending on the size of the potatoes used, you may not need all of the milk. Add additional milk if potatoes are still too thick.
