Cranberry Sauce
This recipe is so simple and basic, there is NO excuse to buy that nasty store bought canned sauce.

Ingredients & Supplies
- 1 (12 oz.) bag fresh cranberries
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1 teaspoon orange zest
Instructions
- In saucepan, combine sugar, water, and orange juice. Bring to a boil.
- Add cranberries and orange zest. Reduce heat and simmer until cranberries burst and sauce thickens, about 10 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let cool. Sauce will thicken further as it cools.
Tips & Notes
Optionally, add cinnamon to taste for extra flavor.
